For a destination wedding, Positano offers many things: majestic views, colorful buildings, sandy beaches, fresh seafood, and incredible wine. The town is also known for its small size—it’s not uncommon for guests to be able to walk from their hotels or rentals to the ceremony site (at the end of Via della Spiaggia) or even to the reception (there are several great restaurants). At night, it’s easy to walk along the beach front or downtown and encounter other guests who are out for a stroll as well—so you won’t feel isolated from your friends or family members on your big day.
From a practical perspective, there’s also a lot to be said for getting married in Positano. For one thing, it’s very easy to get there – travelers can fly into Naples’ airport and take either a train or ferry right into town.
